Wash Water Reclamation with UF(Ultrafiltration)

At the right is the schematic and at the left is the UltraFilter unit.

Practically speaking, what happens during this process is that the water enters the Process tank based on a Low Level Signal. Water flows through the pretreatment stages which are optionally shown as a separator and a filter. This filter is usually a bag filter but can be as simple as a strainer.

Water then flows through the UltraFilter where the clean water(Permeate) goes back to the work tank where it can continue to work. The dirty water or concentrate goes back to the process tank.

Over time the water in the process tank becomes more contaminated and must be evaporated or sent to waste based on the waste being to difficult for the system pump.
