A Reverse Osmosis System is a Cross Flow Water Purification Process. Raw Water is forced into the membrane housing under pressure - as high as 800 PSI. The water is forced through the membrane materials and enters the center tube without most of it's contaminants. Pretreatment which removes particles and objectionable dissolved minerals is required to maintain the flow and quality of water in reverse osmosis.

Packaged Reverse Osmosis Systems - Small Scale

At the left is a small vertical housing Reverse Osmosis System. These Vertical Housing Reverse Osmosis systems are good generally for up to 10,000 Gallons per day.

Packaged Reverse Osmosis System - Large Scale

At the right is a large horizontal housing Reverse osmosis System. These Reverse Osmosis systems are just about limitless in size.

Packaged Reverse Osmosis System - With Pretreatment Skid

At the left is a skid mounted Reverse Osmosis with the required pretreatment to maintain good flow packaged on the same skid. What is generally required is a raw water analysis to determine the appropriate pretreatment components.
